Veterans Suicide Prevention Channel Receives
“Innovative Veterans Company of the Year Award 2015” by the
MILITARY ALLIANCE of VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Glenn Towery, Founder and Chairman of the Veterans Suicide Prevention Channel (VSPChannel) was the recipient of the Innovative Veterans Company of the Year 2015 award at the 1st Annual Texas Military Alliance Group meeting held Friday, August 21, 2015. Murphy Roland, who serves as the State of Texas Community Support Coordinator (SCSC) for Army One Source, a Secretary Of The Army Initiative, presented the stunning paddle award on behalf of the Texas Military Alliance Group to the Navy veteran for his innovative approach to service our nations veterans through the creation of a national television broadcast channel.

The meeting was organized by (SCSC) Murphy Roland on behalf of the Texas Alliance Group and was held at Workforce Solutions located at 6505 Airport Blvd, Austin, Texas 78752. The meeting was well-attended by 60 representatives representing more than 800 organizations throughout Texas that included the Texas Veterans Commission, The Texas Workforce Commission, Army One Source, colleges, universities, non-profits, military child education coalitions, International Bankers Association Of Texas, Texas Association Of Non Profits and many others (See the attached list of attendees).

This meeting was the culmination of much work based on building an alliance of various organizations from many backgrounds which would collaborate to assist Service Family & Military Family members (SVFM’s) Service members, veterans, and family members in the Great State of Texas. The VSPChannel is willing to offer televised media access to all of the 10,000-15000 organizations in Texas assisting (SVFM’s) service members, veterans, military and family members wishing to broadcast information about its services. The VSPChannel is the nation’s first National Broadcast Television Channel for America’s veterans and their family members. The VSPChannel features programming that include inspirational messages from veterans to veterans, messages of support, referral and information, veterans news, comedies, documentaries, talent showcases, and much more. Shows and programs produced by the VSPChannel include the following: Cooking with Chef Dad Show, Mindfulness with Dr. Elijah Goldstein Show, Tai Chi with Sifu Dave Pickens Show, Veterans Exude Talent Show, and the Veterans Luster Show. The VSPChannel is also willing and is broadcasting information for national veterans organizations, such as Wounded Warriors and other vital organizations, on the VSPChannel. Currently, the VSPChannel is broadcasting more than 10 hours of content that expected to increase every week.
